A room is modelled, built and then measured. Four services cover that, and each is specified on its own.
Design
All three acoustic problems modelled together, delivered as a report and a treatment layout. Quantities come from the model, not a coverage rule. It is how a specification is arrived at, rather than an extra bought on top of one.
Verify
Measurement of the finished room against what the model predicted, which is the difference between a specification and a claim.
Isolate
Stopping sound crossing the boundary between the room and the building. Engineered on the MAID framework, and a different problem from treatment.
Verify
Measurement of the built boundary, while the result can still be acted on.
