The isolation equivalent of acoustic verification: the built boundary is measured rather than taken on trust.

Isolation is largely buried once the room is finished, so the window in which it can be corrected cheaply is narrow. Verification measures the boundary while something can still be done about the result.
It is specified separately from the isolation system itself.
